New Haven Summer Workshop

This summer, the Write to Right New Haven chapter partnered with New HYTEs to lead a five-week creative writing program for local public school students. Using the Write to Right curriculum, students wrote poems and short stories inspired by their reading enrichment unit on natural disasters. 20 students participated, with our highlight day being our final presentation of the students’ work when they shared their pieces with the rest of the class.
