Letter from the Editors

Dear readers,

Thank you for being here and for supporting Between the Lines. Through Between the Lines, we hope to use writing as a tool to story-tell, advocate, and bridge people of different backgrounds. Issue One received submissions from 11 states and three countries. We loved reading the incredible and thought-provoking work submitted, and we wish we could include it all. The pieces in this issue explore current events, culture, family, and much more, and we are grateful and excited to share it with you. In September, Between the Lines will open for submissions to our second issue, and we encourage you to submit then.
